National Student Volunteer Week (NSVW) aspires to challenge and celebrate young people who are striving to make change through volunteering!
On 13-19 August 2018, a wide variety of events, activities and campaigns that promote student volunteering will be led by higher education providers and schools nation-wide.
Now in its sixth year, NSVW encourages meaningful and innovative student engagement to help students realise how much of a difference they can make and the personal and professional benefits of getting involved in their communities.
This unique opportunity offers volunteer-involving organisations the chance to showcase the significant contribution of their student volunteers and encourage more young people to join their cause.
We encourage you to participate in NSVW:
Thank your student volunteers
Hold recognition events for your student volunteers. This could be a morning tea, an awards ceremony, treat them with a fun outing, or just give a heartfelt ‘thank you’. Register your event.
Acknowledge the great work of your student volunteers with our official certificate of appreciation.
Profile your student volunteers
Share inspiring stories, quotes and videos highlighting the fantastic experience student volunteers are having by helping your cause.
Meet new young volunteers
Hold an open day or a volunteering come and try day. Let potential student volunteers visit your organisation, lend a hand and learn more about your important work. Register your event.

The Expo offers non-profits the opportunity to meet thousands of talented, enthusiastic students! Free for all parties involved, the Expo is a great platform for building awareness and creating a network of student volunteers to support your cause.
