Volunteer Managers Network (Logan)

Volunteer Managers Network Meetings (VMNMs) are an opportunity for managers and coordinators of volunteers to meet and discuss our challenges and success stories collaboratively in order to learn from each other and improve our engagement of volunteers.

Topic: Engaging Young Volunteers Part II – What works when engaging university student volunteers

Following the success of the July Volunteer Managers Network Meeting on Engaging Young Volunteers (High School Students under the age of 18), we now have the opportunity to follow up with motivating and engaging university aged students to volunteer in your organisation.

Guest Speaker: Ben Cameron - Partnerships Coordinator, Service Learning Community Internship, Griffith University

Ben has a wealth of experience in working with volunteer-involving organisations to develop meaningful and effective opportunities for university students seeking practical opportunities to contribute to organisations as volunteers, students on placement and/or interns.

This Volunteer Managers Network Meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss examples of successful volunteer placements of student volunteers and workshop projects that can benefit your organisation and the student.

Afternoon tea will be supplied.

Free parking available to registered attendees.

Bring your Business Cards!
