About this opportunity

The Women's Group has been running for four years. Volunteers provide a sewing, craft or other activities to the women. The women then chat and eat lunch together. We have women from many different cultures. Through this group many friendships and connections have been forged - it's a beautiful, creative and fun weekly activity that we all enjoy!

Given the growing popularity of the group, we are keen to engage more kitchen volunteers to help us offer these wonderful lunches. If you are not able to commit weekly that's fine - once or twice a month would still be a great help.

HUB is not currently funded for the Women's Group so the meals need to be inexpensive, vegetarian and halal to meet the needs of the women who attend, but we will be able to provide guidance and support around designing the meals. We have a kitchen onsite where the meals are prepared and served (and cover all costs).
