About this opportunity

Logan Hyperdome Library holds large events approximately once a month. These events, which volunteers are required for, usually take place on a Friday afternoon (2-4pm) or a Saturday morning (9am-1pm).

Tasks that would be required of the volunteers at these events are:

• helping to set up chairs and move furniture
• helping with putting out the catered food and drink
• ushering duties during the event eg. showing people to their seats, handing out flyers, passing around the microphones in the crowd.
• helping with packing away after an event

Logan City Council Libraries place great importance on the role of volunteers and we are truly grateful for the contribution our volunteers make towards providing a high standard of service to our clients.
