The QCDI theatre troop will entertain and engage audiences through reminiscence and story telling with a twist. Using available technologies from the Queensland Centre for Digital Inclusion (QCDI).
The troop will create and perform live interactive media based performances. We will perform for a variety of audiences with a specific focus on seniors, people with disabilities and groups with specific diversities.
The troop will perform several unique productions throughout the year to audiences both in centre (Nundah) and via remote streaming technology.
This is an experimental project so be prepared to contribute your ideas and workshop and test different theories in a supportive atmosphere.
We welcome applications from outgoing adults of all backgrounds, genders, ages and abilities.
This position would suit retired or semi retired actors and entertainers, uni students, or others wishing to utilise and develop their performance skills.
The most important attributes for this position are creativity and a willingness to 'have a go'.

2 workshops/rehearsals per week off season.
1 workshop plus 1 performance per week on season.
total 15 hours per week.
