About this opportunity

Court Network is a frontline community organisation that provides support, non-legal information and referrals to court users. Our role is to empower and increase the confidence of court users to manage the requirements of court. Established in 1980 in Victoria, Court Network operates across Queensland in Brisbane, Ipswich, Townsville and Cairns providing court-base non-legal support, information and referrals to members of the community. Services are delivered by over 400 highly-trained volunteer networkers who provide support on a non-judgemental and confidential basis.

Our vision is to provide the community with volunteer who stand beside, empower and instil confidence in all court users.

Court Network is now recruiting a limited number of volunteers in the Victim Support Unit based at the Ipswich Courthouse.

Two (2) information sessions are being held on:
• Tuesday 12 March 2019 (10 – 11am) @ Court 10, level 4, Ipswich Courthouse
• Thursday 14 March 2019 (5.30 – 6.30pm) @ Main Auditorium, Ipswich Central Library

These information sessions will provide further information about the role, the selection process, training format and dates.

All applicants will be required to successfully undergo a National Criminal History Check and Blue Card Services check.
