This position is most suitable for people with past administration experience. Age is not a barrier and welcome applicants of all ages, but having an easygoing and flexible approach is most desirable as the work changes constantly depending on our workloads and deadline. You will be working beside dogs so position is not suitable for people with allergies or not enjoying being close to animals.

We are seeking an enthusiastic person with great organisational skills to assist the CEO with the day to day tasks of the charity.

Tasks/activities of the position include:
• Assisting with preparation of reports and other documentation
• Developing and maintaining spreadsheets/databases
• Writing and updating procedures for administration and support team
• Assisting with background research
• Assisting the fundraising team to contact donors
• Travel planning and reporting
• Admin duties as requested


Position is at this point centrally located at our residence at Mooloolaba which has public transport nearby.

Additional requirements

  • National Police Certificate*
Past experience working in and administration type role is desirable. Knowledge of all Microsoft products would be an advantage but no essential. Applicants may be required to undergo a police check however this will be at the cost of the organisation and not volunteer.

Time required

Time commitment is flexible however we have an expectation of regularly weekly attendance so work stays updated.
