About this opportunity

Our Region consists of 10 Districts who work together providing the Guiding experience not only to girls (5-18 years) but also to women 18+; whether as a Unit Leader, District Manager, Olave member or Trefoil Guild member.

We have huts at Aspley, Albany Creek, Bracken Ridge, Chermside, Everton Park, Ferny Hills, Hamilton-Clayfield, Nundah-Wavell, Sandgate and Stafford.

The District Manager is the Patrol Leader of the District, who keeps the units talking to each other and coordinating the District administration and events. As the District contact you are voice within the Region.

There will also be opportunities to attend local, state, national and international camps and events.

Training (both leadership and specialized skill training) and uniforms are provided for both roles.

No previous experience is required; becoming a leader or unit helper offers opportunities for personal development, friendships and fun whilst empowering the leaders of tomorrow!

The position is the management of the District and being responsible for units within the District and assisting the treasurer with the finance of the District.

Applicants will need to undergo a Blue Card Working with Children Check & hold a current First Aid Certificate
