We are so excited for YOU to join us, and 13 000 other Brisbane women and girls, at the RACQ International Women’s Day Fun Run 2019!

Volunteers really do make the world go round, and in the case of the RACQ
International Women’s Day Fun Run, you make sure that runners get timing chips,
walkers can drop off their bags, and everyone gets hydrated at the halfway
mark.

From race kit collection, to helping in the baggage tent, marshalling our
walkers and runners, setting up or packing down to everything in between, we
simply couldn’t put on such a great event without you!

By donating your time you’re also helping to make an immediate impact for women
with breast cancer, enabling us to put more funds towards providing tangible
and timely support services like house cleaning, counselling and mastectomy
bras.

There are many different roles available to suit all interests. Most event day
roles have an early start on a Sunday morning but you will not be disappointed
as early Sundays are magnificent. Especially on 3 March!

If you would like to be located on course so you can cheer on participants then
a Course Marshal or water station position may suit you best. If you would
prefer to be at the event venue then you can check out the variety of venue
roles available including race kit collection.

Additional requirements

Volunteers can be aged 15 years and up however volunteers under 18 will require a parent or guardian volunteer with them on the day.
Time required

Set up day Saturday 2nd March 2019. Event day Sunday 3rd March 2019. Shifts will be between 4 and 8 hours.
