VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to sell charity lottery tickets in their local community
Hear and Say (Centre for Deaf Children Ltd)
Regular - less than 6 months
Mount Isa, QLD
About this opportunity
We are seeking support from North Queensland communities to help spread the word and raise funds through our charity lottery, Play for Purpose to help our local families.
Play for Purpose is a not-for-profit raffle helping to raise money for Hear and Say with a 1 in 34 chance of winning $500,000 of prizes and 50% of every ticket sold going to Hear and Say so we can continue to open worlds for siblings like Jo, Etty and James, who were switched on for the first time to sound at our Townsville centre. We have 88 families across NQLD who currently need our support.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 through Play for Purpose to open worlds for children in NQLD with hearing loss and we need your help to do it!
It continues to cost $10,000 to support every Hear and Say child through the Early Intervention Program, each year.
Money raised through the raffle will provide life-changing early intervention services to children who are deaf or have a hearing loss in NQLD. With your support, we can continue to open worlds.
How you can help - Become a Play For Purpose Champion!
You'll be given a dedicated fundraising web page where you can tell your community story, set your fundraising goal, and sell Play For Purpose tickets on behalf of Hear and Say in your local community. It’s fun, easy and entirely free to sign up. A minimum of $5 from every $10 ticket sold will go directly to Hear and Say!
Set up a page up as an individual, with a group of friends, at your workplace or local club. The more the merrier!
To learn more about how to become a Play for Purpose Champion and how it works, I would love to hear from you!
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. I work in the Townsville centre on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
From all of us at Hear and Say, have a wonderful day and thank you for your support.
