Cancer Council Queensland is looking for volunteers for the Relay For Life - Gold Coast at Coomera Anglican College on Saturday, October 16, 2021.
Relay For Life is a fun and moving experience that raises vital funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention, information and support services. Relay is a chance for the Gold Coast community to recognize and celebrate local cancer survivors, patients and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost to cancer and to raise money to help save more lives.
Our on-the-day volunteers assist with tasks including:
Helping set up the event (bump in)
Registration for participants
Facilitating our Survivor and Carers Afternoon Tea
Activities around the grounds
Helping keep the event clean and safe
Assisting with our Candlelight Ceremony
*End-of-event activities (bump out)
There are four shifts available on Saturday October 16, 2021.
8AM to 12PM - (Morning) (Pre-Event setup)
12PM to 4PM - (Lunch)
4PM to 8PM - (Afternoon)
8PM to 12AM - (Evening)
