Brownsea Water Activities Centre, Scouts Australia, Queensland Branch Inc

The Purpose of Scouts Australia is to encourage the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development of young people so that they may take a constructive place in society as responsible citizens, and as members of their local, national and international communities.

We use water based activities in the outdoors at Shorncliffe to develop youth, in team work, leadership and resilience

The Brownsea Water Activities Centre is available to all youth from Scouting or Girl Guides. We have members from Bundaberg to Brunswick Heads who are regular participants in Water Based Activities. We also develop and support adults to develop water based skills.

Our team of volunteers runs Canoeing, Kayaking, Sailing, Rafting and Power Boating and is keen to expand these activities.
