Cairns Branch Coordinator

About this opportunity

The Branch Coordinator (BC) and Deputy Branch Coordinator (DBC) will be responsible for the successful operational management of the Cairns Branch. Reporting to the Volunteer and Outreach Manager, the BC and DBC plays a key role in ensuring volunteers are prepared and supported in the delivery of the Rosies outreach model to support patrons, hub operations run smoothly, combined with community engagement to increase the awareness and support of Rosies in the local area.   Volunteer Management o     Ensuring Team Leaders are in place for each team o     Ensuring each team has adequate volunteer numbers, and advising when recruitment of new volunteers is required o     Ensuring rosters are up to date in SharePoint and Better Impact o     Training new volunteers and Team Leaders o     Assisting Head Office in recognising volunteers and donors locally o     Modelling Rosies mission and values, and acting as a role model for Branch volunteers o     Communicating with Head Office, via phone, email and meetings   WH&S o     Upholding and implementing Rosies policies and procedures o     Liaising with Head Office and/or Hub facilities manager regarding maintenance of the hub, as required o     Being on-call to Team Leaders in the case of NOW (incident) events and debriefing appropriately.   Other duties or responsibilities as required from time to time.
