    Event:Gold Coast Marathon - Volunteers

    The Gold Coast Marathon requires a large number of volunteers across a wide range of areas including race kit collection at the ASICS sport and leisure expo in the lead up to the event and race day roles at the race precinct. Range of shift times with earliest starting at 4:30am and latest finishing at 8pm. Be a apart of the 41st addition of the G C Marathon, meet new people, have fun.     We need someone who is prepared to help 2 to 3 Saturdays a month for twelve months. We are looking for someone who is older than 15 years of age. Someone who likes to be with young people and who is good role model. Someone who is able to promote and maintain a safe and secure environment for the young people and will provide assistance on Saturdays for up to 8 hours. We are looking for someone in the Brisbane area. A committed person who is able to assist the youth for twelve months.

    The endangered Eastern Curlew is the largest migratory wader that visits Australia. These amazing birds migrate all the way to the Arctic Circle in order to breed and can be seen in Japan, Korea and Borneo as they journey to these breeding grounds. In South East Queensland they can be found from October - March on intertidal mud/sandflats as well as mangrove swamps and estuaries.

    Homeless Connect is a day for our homeless guests to come and feel special and cared for - with free breakfast and lunch, clothing, food hampers, haircuts, medical and allied health treatments, access to support services, entertainment and more. If you are a qualified hairdresser or barber and would like to volunteer your skills to help our guests look good and feel great, please get in touch.     The Mater Foundation need volunteers to help out up on the beautiful Sunshine Coast at the Noosa Classic. Sunday 18th August 2019. The Noosa Classic is an annual multi charity cycling event. We will have a team of inspiring cyclists riding to raise money for Mater's Smiling for Smiddy. Funds raised will go towards potentially life-changing projects for those suffering from melanoma, prostate, ovarian and breast cancer.
