    Festival Operational Precinct Set-up - Cooktown Expo 17 July-4 August 2020

    The Festival Operational Volunteers will be multi-skilled and capable of lifting and moving tables, chairs and partition booth walls, setting up marquees, directing stall holders, general set-up duties of all areas of festival. It’s a great opportunity to work closely with their community, make lifelong friends, and see their work bring the festival to life!

    Roaming Rubbish Educators and Collectors - Cooktown Expo 17 July-4 August 2020

    Are you passionate about the environment? Roaming Rubbish Educators/Collectors are needed to educate festival participants in a friendly manner, collect rubbish and help protect the nearby Endeavour River. Head to Cooktown for an action-packed three week event showcasing indigenous arts and culture, history, science, agriculture, marine and environmental expos, workshops, demonstrations, music, song, dance and fabulous food!

    Information booth and roaming information officer support - Cooktown Expo 17 July-4 August 2020

    Information volunteers will have the important role of supplying information about the Cooktown Expo 2020 Festival and Cooktown area to festival participants. The Cooktown Expo will be an action-packed three week event showcasing indigenous arts and culture, history, science, agriculture, marine and environmental expos, workshops, demonstrations, music, song, dance and fabulous food, attracting visitors from near and far!

    Ticketing Support - Cooktown Expo 17 July-4 August 2020

    Ticketing Support Officers will be required for checking people's tickets for paid and unpaid events as part of the festival. Some events are free and some are pre-purchased. The Cooktown Expo is a three week event showcasing indigenous arts and culture, history, science, agriculture, marine and environmental expos, workshops, demonstrations, music, song, dance and fabulous food!     Pedestrian Management - Cooktown Expo 17 July-4 August 2020

    Visitors and local volunteers are invited to help manage the flow of festival participants and keep them safe on walkways. The Cooktown Expo is a three week event showcasing indigenous arts and culture, history, science, agriculture, marine and environmental expos, workshops, demonstrations, music, song, dance and fabulous food!

    Performer and sponsor support will have the important role to assist artists and performers in preparing for performances and showcasing their 'art' and to answer questions of artists, sponsors and performers.
