Driver - Broadbeach Meals on Wheels

Broadbeach Meals on Wheels is an essential service providing meals to elderly members of our community, allowing them to remain living independently at home. Meals on Wheels volunteers not only deliver fresh, nutritious meals but also help to reduce social isolation by stopping to have a quick chat with clients. This is a great volunteer role as you will quickly get to know the clients that you deliver meals to, and they look forward to seeing you! The role includes: Collecting meals from our Broadbeach Meals on Wheels Delivering meals to clients in the Broadbeach Area Stopping in for a quick chat with clients, and Returning to our Broadbeach Meals on Wheels to drop off delivery bags. Volunteers need access to a car with comprehensive car insurance. Meet other likeminded volunteers and join in our regular get-togethers with other volunteers. Training will be provided. Volunteer weekly or fortnightly, or as an 'on call' volunteer to cover when other volunteers are away, 7:30am to 10am Monday, Wednesday or Friday mornings , please contact us

If volunteering to drive, we do ask our volunteers to use their own vehicle that has Comprehensive Insurance Cover.
