About this opportunity

Volunteers are the strength behind any Not-For-Profit Charitable organisation. Guide Dogs Qld have been working alongside volunteers in the community for 63 years and we need your help to allow us to continue with that support. As 85% of funding comes from the community, we need volunteers to help support us in our mission to support those in our community with vision loss or blindness. The role is flexible to fit in with volunteer time and availability and always fun. Volunteers are supported by and work alongside the Community Fundraising Coordinator here in Cairns. All volunteers receive a comprehensive induction and clear guidelines around volunteering with Guide Dogs Qld and you will be provided with the resources and tools to organise fundraising activities and events.
