**Help Keep Our History Alive – Volunteer with Us!** 📍 *Caboolture Historical Village* At the **Caboolture Historical Village**, we believe that educating children about our past is essential to preserving Australia’s cultural heritage. Through our many **school excursions**, we give students a hands-on look at what life was like over 100 years ago. We're looking for **enthusiastic volunteers** who are passionate about sharing the skills and stories of days gone by. **You could be involved in demonstrating:** * **Blacksmithing** * Operating a **traditional printing press** * How a **dairy** used to run * **Washing** with a copper boiler * What **school life and teaching** looked like in the past **No experience needed – all training is provided.** If you're excited to share history in a fun, educational way with children, we'd love to hear from you. ✅ Don’t have a Blue Card? No problem – we’ll help you apply. Join us in passing on this **valuable legacy** to future generations.
The Caboolture Historical Village requires all volunteers to meet current Queensland Government health measures (relating to vaccinations and mask wearing). We can help you apply for a Blue Card (working with children) prior to you commencing your volunteer role with us. All training will be provided. Some demonstrators do wear period costume while giving their demonstration.
