Volunteer Street Outreach/Homeless Support Worker - Maryborough

About this opportunity

The Street Outreach Service operates on a Monday and Thursday evenings in and around Maryborough. Providing harm minimisation, support, information, referrals and crisis intervention to individuals who are experiencing homelessness or otherwise at risk.

The patrols are staffed by trained volunteers and provide drinks and snacks, emotional support where required, information on a wide range of issues and available services, information on issues regarding health, social or lifestyle issues, alcohol and other drugs and referrals and connections to other professional agencies.
