Friends of the Theatre (Gladstone)

ALMOST 20 years ago, Friends of the Theatre began at the Gladstone City Theatre.As the entertainment precinct in Gladstone flourishes, so too does the need for volunteers.he 70-odd current volunteers emerge from all walks of life, and have been granted their own Friends Room at the new GECC with coffee and tea facilities.

"It's an excellent way to meet new people if you have just moved to town," said Mr Miller. It's an excellent opportunity to get out of the house and a fun way to give back to your community."
