Our mission is to work in partnership with domestic violence services to enhance the service options that they can offer and provide to women and families that have experienced domestic violence. We only work through a referral basis, accepting referrals from specialist domestic violence services including refuges for clients that are actively engaged with the service. At RizeUp we believe it is essential to ensure the families are linked with the services in order to receive the vital wraparound support required to break the cycle of violence and to increase their safety and the sustainability of their decision to leave the abusive relationship.
The safety, privacy and confidentiality of your clients are our top priority and we have established a series of processes that ensure these are not compromised at any stage. Our volunteers are subjected to a lengthy recruitment process that involves confidentiality agreements, police checks, code of conduct agreements and an overview.
