COTA Queensland

Council on the Ageing (COTA) Queensland is a state-wide not for profit organisation that aims to advance the rights, interests, and futures of people as we age.

They aim to help create a more just, equitable and caring community in which older people are actively involved and have access to appropriate support, services and care.

The Board, staff and volunteers of COTA Queensland value:

COTA Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation that focuses on matters that affect the quality of life for seniors. Their programs include: Promoting seniors' interests through their work in advocating senior’s policy to improve the well-being of older people. Free community education sessions on "Consumer Directed Care" and the current reforms to aged care. The Seniors Peak service to the Queensland Government.
