RSL SED Ltd is the coordinating body supporting a network of RSL Sub Branches across Brisbane and South East Queensland, from Nerang to Kilcoy. We proudly represent and advocate for members of the veteran community, including current and former serving members of the Australian Defence Force, and work to strengthen connection, support, and recognition for those who have served.
The RSL SED is the parent body responsible for organising the annual Anzac Day Parade in Brisbane CBD. This has been carried out by local and Ex-Service volunteers on behalf of the Veteran community; current and former serving, to enable a respectful and enjoyable spectacle for the people of Brisbane and Queensland. Each year, the Parade draws over 20,000 spectators, creating a powerful and meaningful tribute to service.
The Parade is proudly supported by Queensland Government and Brisbane City Council.
The Veteran Wellbeing Coordination Centre (VWCC) is an integral part of RSL SED Ltd operations and delivers an active, year-round volunteer program. VWCC volunteers support veterans through wellbeing initiatives, including hospital visitation services, providing mateship and care to veterans and their families in hospital.
By volunteering with us, you can make a meaningful contribution to the veteran community and help honor the service of those who have served our nation. ????
