PACT is a not for profit organisation that educates, empowers and supports child victims and witnesses to crime through the Queensland criminal justice system, helping them understand the complex legal journey and being by their side as they give their best evidence in court. PACT's Child Witness Support Program matches carefully screened and trained volunteers with child victims, who are by the child's side for key steps throughout the long court journey (which can take up to two years). PACT's aim is for every child victim to be supported through the legal system, with the confidence to tell the truth, speak up and feel heard as they give their best evidence.
