State Library volunteers participate in both front-of-house projects such as providing building tours for visitors, assisting with exhibitions and music performances and back-of-house projects which include historical document transcription and working with our collections .
The volunteer program greatly enhances the capabilities of State Library and provides a very enjoyable and interesting way to become involved with and to support one of Australia’s great cultural institutions.
