**Role Requirements:** * Assist clients to participate in community life to feel socially included and to maintain and support their independence and social interactions with others * Meet and greet clients at designated venues or at their door as directed * Ensure all registered attendees are present or accounted for * Provide clients with an overview of each activity and handle enquiries, by providing information or passing enquiries onto the team leader * Assist with ushering clients to and from venues, ensuring the seating arrangements in venue are appropriate, * Assist clients to place orders (for morning tea, beverages and lunch) * Encourage social interactions via ice breakers and social activities * Facilitate introductions between clients and ensure clients are comfortable and are able to participate in and enjoy the activity. * Report any risk/s or incidents associated with activities immediately to CHSP Team Leader * Be actively involved in all STAR Social activities and be willing to be included in the roster of hosts. * Other duties as agreed by both parties.

Community ServicesA minimum of 4-5 hours one day a week with a minimum commitment of 3-6 months requested.
The rostering of hours and days will be negotiated to meet the availability of to the volunteer and the needs of the services.
