**Volunteer with the Maryborough Family Heritage Institute** **Location:** Maryborough QLD **Time Commitment:** Flexible (between Mon–Thurs, 9:00am–3:00pm) **About the Role:** Do you enjoy history, research, or helping others? Join our friendly team of volunteers and play a meaningful role in preserving family and local heritage. The Maryborough Family Heritage Institute offers a welcoming environment where you can develop skills, meet like-minded people, and contribute to the community. Whether you're experienced or just getting started, we’ll support you every step of the way. **What You’ll Do:** Depending on your interests and skills, you may assist with: - Family history and genealogy research - Library and records management - Office administration and general support - Customer service and assisting visitors - Managing displays and archival materials - Printing and bookbinding projects - Fundraising and event support - Attending museum visitors **About You:** We’re looking for volunteers who: - Have an interest in family history or local heritage - Possess basic computer skills - Are friendly, reliable, and willing to learn Experience in any of the listed areas is highly valued but not essential. **How to Apply** Please come in and introduce yourself or submit a brief expression of interest outlining your experience and availability. 📍 Ground Floor, 164 Richmond St, Maryborough QLD Monday to Thursday, 9:00am – 3:00pm 📧 mfhivolunteer@outlook.com 📞 (07) 4123 1620
