Brisbane City Council

Share your passion for Brisbane's natural environment, learn about the reserves around you and give back to your community by volunteering at one of Brisbane City Council's environment centres.

Brisbane City Council has three environment centres across Brisbane, including Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre, Downfall Creek Bushland Centre and Boondall Wetlands Environment Centre. We are always looking for volunteers to join a flexible roster in a variety of roles, including:

- greeting and interacting with visitors
- running craft workshops and other activities for visitors of all ages
- leading guided walks to share about the flora and fauna of the reserves
- providing event and activity support
- administrative support.
