Surf Life Saving Queensland is a not-for-profit community organisation and the state’s peak authority on beach safety and surf rescue. With more than 34,000 members across 57 surf life saving clubs, our mission is to save lives, build better communities, and create a safer environment for all beachgoers.
Since 1930, SLSQ has proudly delivered frontline beach patrols, education programs, volunteer training, and emergency response services across Queensland’s coastline. Our movement is powered by passionate volunteers of all ages, backgrounds, and skillsets—and there’s a role for everybody in lifesaving.
Whether you're in the water, on the radio, at the BBQ, or behind the scenes—you can make a difference.
