Volunteering Queensland is proud to announce a new partnership with SEEK Volunteer, making it even easier for members to promote volunteer opportunities and connect with potential volunteers across Queensland.
As part of a broader refresh of Volunteering Queensland’s membership benefits, member access to the existing VIKTOR volunteer recruitment platform will transition to SEEK Volunteer from the end of July 2026. The change is designed to simplify volunteer recruitment while providing members with access to an established and user-friendly platform.
The new collaboration ensures that Volunteering Queensland members can continue to advertise volunteer opportunities, receive support with creating effective volunteer role advertisements, and reach volunteers through both the SEEK Volunteer and Volunteering Queensland websites.
A stronger platform for volunteer recruitment
SEEK Volunteer offers a familiar volunteer recruitment experience, enhanced by a range of features designed to help organisations attract and manage volunteer interest more effectively.
Importantly, Queensland-based opportunities published through linked VQ member accounts will display a “Supported by Volunteering Queensland” tag, highlighting the partnership and reinforcing the trusted support available to community organisations.
Members will also continue to benefit from Volunteering Queensland’s promotion of volunteer opportunities, with VQ’s Featured Opportunities section remaining exclusively for member roles.
Part of a refreshed membership experience
The SEEK Volunteer partnership forms the first phase of Volunteering Queensland’s wider membership benefits refresh, which also includes the launch of a new VQ Member Portal later in 2026. The portal will provide members with a single location to manage membership details, access professional development resources, request support services and connect with a growing range of member benefits.
Together, these enhancements reflect Volunteering Queensland’s commitment to making it easier for volunteer-involving organisations to access support, build capability and strengthen volunteering across the state.
