Volunteer Lifesaver – Surf Life Saving Queensland Make a real impact. Learn life-saving skills. Join the red and yellow family. Love the beach and want to give back to your community? Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) is looking for passionate and community-minded people to become Volunteer Lifesavers at clubs right across the state. What’s involved? As a Volunteer Lifesaver, you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping Queensland beaches safe. From watching over swimmers to responding to emergencies and providing first aid, you'll work as part of a patrol team making a real difference every shift. No experience? No problem. We’ll provide all the training—including your Bronze Medallion, First Aid, and CPR—completely free.
