5 November 2024 sees the 25th International Volunteer Managers Day. In celebration of Queensland’s tireless volunteer leaders, we are hosting a complimentary, face to face workshop for volunteer managers prior to our 2024 AGM on 7 November.
In recognition of the IVMDay 24 theme “What’s our future normal?”, this workshop will explore elements of volunteer management in a digital age. We’ll hear from a leader of volunteers who will share her personal experience of utilising digital technologies to support volunteer management, and a member of the Brisbane Ranstad team who will speak on volunteer recruitment strategies.
Vicki Meyer, Manager – Volunteer Services at Inclusee (and recipient of the 2024 Excellence in Volunteer Management Award), will impart her expertise on how to effectively manage volunteers in a virtual environment.
Jade Mortlock from the Brisbane Talent Strategy team at Randstad – will speak on volunteer recruitment strategies
This practical session will be a fantastic opportunity to learn and connect, and you’ll leave with lots of ideas that you can explore and apply at your own organisation.
