We are a charity called Hair Aid.
Hair Aid recruits and coordinates volunteer hairdressers to work with organisations in their local community (support organisations, churches, community groups, etc) that support those in our own communities that need a hand. We call these events Hair Aid Community Cuts (HACCs). Our teams support community groups, charities, government organisations and/or church groups that care for homeless, domestic violence sufferers, migrants or those just in suffering at a time of crisis. Our teams provide free haircuts, for 2 –3 hours every six weeks at their local Hair Aid Community Cuts event. It is with this all these events we need help.
Our LinkedIn profile is pretty woeful, and we need it to be more active. Would love an expert to come along and give this a general overhaul, and office advice and support on how to use LinkedIn on a more professional manner.
FYI: I manage Hair Aid from my home address with this, at Woolloongabba, not a corporate office. If this suits you I am looking for a volunteer that would be happy to do one meet and greet and perhaps a few hours a week to start with to understand what needs to be done, then 2-3 hours a fortnight ongoing. Does this sound like something you would like to do?
I do conduct inductions sessions, for new volunteers to come along and hear what Hair Aid is all about – but I ask that you listen to one or two of our podcasts on our webpage first then decide if Hair Aid is for you!
Able to work with a team of volunteers! We work from a home office, so the atmosphere is casual! Own computer a must!
Can you spare 2-3 hours a month? Looking for general administration items to be done -- from a home office for a charity that does great things!
We need you to be fairly experienced in LinkedIn
